After a thrilling week of Electric Ireland Sigerson Cup round three action, the quarter-final draw has been made, with the four deciders to take place over Tuesday and Wednesday next week.
Having won both of their opening games, UCD, Ulster Uni, TUS Midlands and TUD all qualified directly for the quarter-finals and received a bye for this week's round three.
The other four places in the quarter-final were decided in what were essentially preliminary quarter-finals this week, where the losers of round 2a faced off against the winners of 2b.
MTU Kerry, Uni of Galway, DCU and Maynooth Uni all reigned supreme in those games, claiming the other four spots in the quarter-finals, with St. Mary's, MTU Cork, UL, and ATU Sligo all bowing out of the competition.

Sigerson Cup quarter-final draw confirmed
UCD v MTU Kerry - Belfield, Tuesday 28th January
The first quarter-final will see unbeaten UCD welcome underdogs MTU Kerry to their South Dublin campus next Tuesday.
While UCD will be heavy favourites heading into this clash, MTU Kerry overcame a round one hammering by DCU to beat both UCC and MTU Cork.
Meanwhile, UCD have played just twice, overcoming UCC by five points before beating Dublin rivals DCU by the bare minimum to book their spot in the quarter-final.
TUD v UL - Grangegorman, Tuesday 28th January
Tuesday's second game will also see a Munster side travel to the capital, with TUD set welcome UL to Grangegorman on the North side of the city.
Three-point wins over both the Uni of Galway and St. Mary's saw TUD skip round three and book their spot in the quarter-finals.
While UL started the campaign well hammering ATU Galway. A one-point loss to University Ulster however, forced them into a round three playoff where a win over University of Galway was enough to set up the final-eight clash.
DCU v TUS Midlands - DCU, Wednesday 29th January.
TUS Midlands will travel to Dublin on Wednesday night where they'll take on DCU for the third semi-final spot.
DCU took a more difficult road to final eight than their fellow Dublin outfits, hammering MTU Kerry 2-21 to 0-11 in round one before being pipped by a single point against UCD the following week. Fighting for their place in the competition, this week's 13 point win over ATU Sligo kept their season alive.
On the other hand TUS MIdland's two point win over Maynooth in extra time of Round One followed by their five point win over MTU Cork in round two saw them automatically qualify for the quarter-final.
Ulster Uni v Maynooth - Jordanstown, Wednesday 29th January
The final quarter-final will pit Ulster University against Maynooth on Wednesday evening.
The Kildare outfit lost to TUS Midlands after extra-time in round one finding themselves fighting to keep their season alive on just the second week. They came up trumps, hammering ATU Donegal to set up this week's clash with St. Mary's where a five point win was plenty to see them into the quarter-finals.
The reigning champions Ulster University overcame ATU Sligo in round one before securing a one point win over UL to claim their place in Wednesday's quarter-final.
