It wasn't the best of days for Kerry. The dethroned All-Ireland champions were second best to Dublin in poor conditions at Croke Park.
Kerry manager Eamonn Fitzmaurice was in no mood to mince his words in his post match interview, giving probably the most honest account of what he saw you'll ever see from a manager in any sport.
Fitzmaurice gave a lot of credit to Dublin, saying that Dublin's worth ethic and fight made it very difficult for his team.
And while he was hoping for a draw in the final stages, Fitzmaurice acknowledges that it would have been "daylight robbery" had they managed to do it.
It's his comments at the end of the interview surrounding his future that will leave people with the most questions. Fitzmaurice says his three-year term is up, and isn't sure what the future holds.
Would Kerry fans want him to step down?
