Until Saturday evening at Croke Park, Dublin had gone thirty games without tasting defeat in either league or championship. On 1st March 2015 a league trip to Killarney had seen them defeated by Kerry by 0-15 to 1-10 and since then, victory has always been theirs. What's more, they hadn't been beaten at home in the league since Cork in 2014.
And, until the 74th minute of their National Football League clash at home to Tyrone, it looked like that record would be lost. Tyrone had Dublin on the ropes, but the Dubs fought back like champions do to level with a monster Dean Rock '45 - after being five points down with ten minutes left - to see the game finish in a draw.
An Aidan McCrory goal in the second half complemented Tyrone goalkeeper Niall Morgan's save from a Dean Rock penalty earlier in the game - and, despite getting Mark Bradley sent off, Tyrone looked set to end the Dubs' run and set down a serious marker for the rest of the year. But the home team's incredible determination, drive and hunger saw them claim a dramatic draw through Rock's reliable right peg. The game finished Dublin 0-10, Tyrone 1-07.

We did well to get the draw and could have maybe won it. Fair play to this team, they never know when they're beaten. #31StillUnbeaten
