Dublin are set to take on Galway this weekend as the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship reaches the quarter-final stage, continuing what has been an exciting championship in recent weeks. Here's everything you need to know about Dublin v Galway.
The Dubs will be looking to continue their unbeaten run in the championship so far as they look to win back-to-back Sam Maguires. Dessie Farrell's men started their All-Ireland campaign with a convincing 2-19 to 0-13 win over Roscommon in Croke Park before cruising to a 5-17 to 0-13 victory away to Cavan in round two.
In round three, the Dubs played Mayo in Dr. Hyde Park where they needed at least a draw to win Group 2 and advance directly to the quarterfinals. In a tight back-and-forth game, a brilliant late point from Cormac Costello ensured Dublin got the draw they needed and advanced as group winners on points difference.

In Galway's case, they also will be looking to continue their unbeaten run in the championship so far this campaign and reach their first All-Ireland semi-final since 2022. The Connacht champions got their All-Ireland campaign up and running with a 2-14 to 0-15 win over a 14-man Derry side before getting a tight 1-12 to 0-11 away win over Westmeath in round two.
This set up a position where the Tribesmen needed a win over Armagh to win Group 1 and advance to the quarterfinals automatically. However, a late Stefan Campbell point gave Armagh a 1-12 to 0-15 draw which they needed to win the Group, putting Galway in the preliminary quarterfinals.
Pádraic Joyce's side would face Monaghan in Pearse Stadium in the preliminary quarterfinals, where they would edge past the Ulster outfit with a 0-14 to 0-11 win.
