For Leinster runners-up Dublin, they will be looking to get their championship back on track after a heavy defeat in the provincial final. Michéal Donoghue's side started their championship well, with three wins, a draw, and a loss being enough for Dublin to take second in the Leinster round-robin and qualify for the Leinster final.

The Dubs would face Kilkenny in Croke Park in the Bob O'Keeffe decider, where the Cats would ultimately cruise to victory with a final score of 3-28 to 1-18.
