For the first time since 2007 and just the second time since 1990, a team has retained the All-Ireland. It's a tough feat, a mark of how talented this Dublin team is. Some of this Dublin panel now have four All-Ireland medals.
This year, the Dublin process won out over the Mayo heart. Saturday evening was the culmination of months of hard work and the players certainly enjoyed the moment.

Jack McCaffrey
He wasn't on this year's Championship panel - he'll almost certainly be back next year - but Jack McCaffrey's show of affection for super-sub Cormac Costello is definitely worth inclusion.
