Up until know, it seemed that GAA fans heading down to Electric Picnic might be a bit of a loss considering that the festival fun would coincide with both the All Ireland football semi-final replay and the All Ireland hurling final.
Initial word was that picnicers of a GAA persuasion would have to make do with hoping their mobile devices held out and they were able to catch the action online. But little by little, things are coming together that will make it an ideal weekend for everyone involved.
First up it was confirmed that An Puball Gaeilge, the Irish language tent, would screen TG4 coverage of the hurling final on Sunday on a first come first served basis.
All well and good, but what about Dublin and Mayo fans, or anyone who wanted to see part two of that enthralling semi-final? It seemed they were out of look with organisers saying that the match would not be available on site. However, you can now scratch that after it was confirmed that both matches would be shown live in the Newstalk Lounge at the Mindfield Stage.
Anyone heading down to the Picnic can watch the hurling and football at #NTLounge in Minefield. Godsend. #EP2015

Once again, it's first come, first served and it's sure to be standing room only so we'd suggest you may want to get there before throw in to get a decent view.
