Wicklow minors have beaten Meath 1-10 to 1-8 to progress to the Electric Ireland Leinster Minor Football Championship semi-final. The result means the defending champions Dublin are knocked out.
Dublin also won tonight on a scoreline of 5-19 to 0-9 against Westmeath but losses against Wicklow and Meath earlier in the group returned to haunt them as Jason Sherlock and Ger Gleeson's side bowed out.

Oisin Cullen's goal and late frees from Eoin Darcy and Matthew Ging made all the difference and Kevin O’Brien’s Wicklow will now progress to the semi-final where they will play Kildare in Newbridge on Saturday.
In the other semi-final, Meath will face Laoise in O'Moore Park. That game will also take place next weekend.
