The solitary game that constituted the 2015 Fenway Classic was repeated today as Dublin took on All-Ireland winners Galway in Boston.
With the new Hurling Super 11s format, both teams got off to a quick start - racking up scores in a way that was bound to satisfy the action-hungry sponsors.
However, seemingly out of nothing, both sides didn't wait long before indulging the only thing that stood out from their earlier meeting in Fenway Park.
Perhaps not as long or all-encompassing as the all-out brawl of 2015, a number of Dublin and Galway players were keen to engage in another "schemozzle" as soon as the first gauntlet was thrown.
It didn't even take 10 minutes.
Beginning on the Galway goal-line, a small clash became consistently bigger. Although the figures of reason were on top of it almost equally as quick, it really is astonishing what this match does to these two sides.

At half-time in the tie, Galway are narrowly ahead. Plenty of goals are going in, but it all seems a little rough and ready as yet.
