Diarmuid Connolly and Dublin GAA have decided against appealing the decision made by the Central Hearings Committee last night.
The All-Ireland winners' 12-week ban from all games will be upheld.
After initially accepting the suspension for pushing linesman Ciaran Branagan against Carlow, Connolly decided to appeal. That hearing was held on Tuesday night, with the CHC releasing a statement at 2:47am on Wednesday morning:
Diarmuid O Conghaile requested a Hearing which took place on 13ú Meitheamh.
An Lar Choiste Eisteachta (Central Hearings Committee) found the infraction proven and imposed the following penalty: 12 weeks Suspension in all Codes and at all Levels.
Connolly and Dublin could've decided to go to the Central Appeals Committee, and subsequently the DRA after that. But in a statement made on their Twitter, Dublin GAA confirmed that would not be happening.

As a result, the St.Vincent's man will be missing until August 26th - the day before the All-Ireland semi final, should Dublin get there.
It didn't quite reach the levels of his last saga. You can view the incident here.
