Dublin GAA Club Share Images Of Disgraceful Vandalism Of Pitches

This sort of thing drives up the wall.

Considering all the hard work and spare time volunteers put in to the upkeep of the facilities at their local clubs, to see them destroyed must be so disheartening.

That is what the people at Rosmini Gaels are going through at the minute. The Drumcondra based GAA club took to Twitter earlier today to share images of the damage that was done to their pitches overnight, which they also share with football club Home Farm.

The pictures show tyre tracks across the field, much of which was badly dug up. Considering the time of year, this damage will likely take weeks to reverse.

The hours will now be put in to get the pitches back to a decent level, with the start of the season only a couple of weeks away. It's certainly a headache the clubs affected would like to have avoided.

You'd have to wonder what sort of idiot would do something like this.
