There were just over 16,000 at Nowlan Park on Saturday evening as Dublin ambled past Laois into the semi-final of the Leinster Championship.
The contest felt over after 14 seconds when Dean Rock hit the back of the Laois net. After that, the only interest in the game was for those who had either backed Dublin -14 on the handicap or Laois +14. Those who were on the former are livid with Diarmuid Connolly this evening.
The game was Dublin's first outside of Croke Park in ten years. Their last summer trip away came in 2006 with a visit to Longford's Pearse Park (a game you can read about here).
A chance for an away day is something which the Dublin fans who made the journey down the M9 savoured.
