It hasn't been a bad week for Monaleen GAA Club. Last Saturday they claimed the Limerick Premier Intermediate Hurling title against Cappamore by three points, and this Saturday a win over Dromcollogher-Broadford granted them the Senior Football Championship title.
We all love the thrill, speed and action of inter-county GAA but your life starts and ends in the humble but glorious surrounds of the club. It is where you kicked your first point as a child and where you will probably watch your last match as an adult. You go through things with and for the people whose houses you frequented as a child, whose brothers and sisters you went to school with, who know the same people and places as yourself.
So when you win trophies with these people, it's extra special. When you win two in seven days, it must result in near-delirium.
And, thanks to the wonderful world of Twitter, we have a video that captures that state of utter excitement. On a sad day for Munster and Irish sport, the Monaleen team's ecstatic happiness will bring a smile to your face (unless you are from Dromcollogher-Broadford).

For once, we have to agree with Joe. "Class" indeed.
