The draw for the Donegal Senior Football Championship has thrown up a huge game, with Naomh Conaill set to take on Gaoth Dobhair in the quarter-finals.
The last two winners of the competition, these sides are also well acquainted with each other having often met in the latter stages of the championship. That includes in 2019, when it took three games to separate the pair in the final.
Naomh Conaill would ultimately emerge victorious on that occasion, winning the second replay on a scoreline of 0-8 to 0-7.
That avenged their defeat to Gaoth Dobhair in the final in the previous year, who would go on to win the Ulster title that winter.
Naomh Conaill would also win the delayed 2020 county final a few weeks ago, although that result has now been expunged after Kilcar were successful in their appeal due to their opponents using too many substitutes in the game. Last year's final will now not be replayed until the 2021 championship has concluded.
This is sure to be a hugely exciting clash, with a number of other intriguing looking ties drawn last night.

Should Naomh Conaill reach the final, it would be the fifth successive season in which they do so. However, there is a long way to go before they can think about reaching that point.
The winners of that match will meet either Sean MacCumhaills or Kilcar in the semi-final, while the other side of the draw sees the meetings of St Michael vs Aodh Ruadh and St Eunan’s vs St Naul’s.
