No one tell Joe Brolly about this game. He may suffer an aneurysm.
Glenswilly - the club of Michael Murphy - took on St. Eunan's in a Donegal County Football League Division 1 game today. As Donegal play in the final round of the qualifiers next week, a number of county players, including Murphy, were absent.
The game, incredibly, finished Glenswilly 0-3 St. Eunan's 0-2.
Glenswilly scored all three of their points in the first half. After the opening 30 minutes, they held - what turned out to be - an unassailable lead of 0-3 to 0-1.
The only point in the second half of the game arrived in the 45th minute from a free by St. Eunan's Conor Gibbons.
According to Donegal Sports Hub's Alan Foley, the blanket defence was not the issue. Rather it was poor shooting. Glenswilly had 15 wides, St. Eunan's 12.

You really should read Alan Foley's match report - it contains some excellent lines - and is infinitely more entertaining than the actual game.
This was some of the reaction to the game from Donegal and beyond.

This. I think modern football has great potential, but it will never be realised with the current rules #GAA pic.twitter.com/6jPZ7JPjRs

Glenswilly beat St. Eunans 0-03 to 0-02 today in the league today. Surely not long until we get a 1-0 #donegal #gaa

Glenswilly went 3-0 up in first half today, didn't score again & end up winning! 1 point in the whole second half. This really happened #gaa
