Dessie Farrell has been confirmed as the new manager of the Dublin footballers.
The announcement that Farrell will succeed Jim Gavin was made at the Dublin county convention on Thursday evening.
The Na Fianna man has been appointed on a three-year term.
"Dessie has played an integral role in the success of the Dublin footballers over the past decade in his time as manager of the Dublin Minor and U21 teams," said outgoing Dublin chairman Sean Shanley.
We wish Dessie the very best and look forward to the 2020 season.
The 1995 All-Ireland winner's backroom team has not yet been confirmed.
Farrell managed the Dublin minors to the 2012 All-Ireland title. He subsequently took over as manager of the Dublin U21 team and won All-Ireland titles in 2014 and 2017.
He managed Na Fianna in 2019 as they lost out in the quarter-finals of the Dublin SFC to eventual champions Ballyboden St Enda's.
