On last night's Sunday Game, Des Cahill came out with an early candidate for GAA sound bite of the summer - the surrealist portmanteau, "Bumfuzzled".
Speaking of Offaly's inability to win a first-round Championship game in recent seasons, he suggested that their supporters must be "bumfuzzled " as to why this is the case.
It's reasonable to suggest that Des was trying to say 'bamboozled' and 'puzzled', but instead neatly joined the two in a convenient and hilarious combination.
What makes this even more impressive is the fact that he managed to shoehorn in a bumfuzzle at the request of Dublin star Michael Darragh Macauley, who took up the Sunday Game's word challenge:
BREAKING: #Dublin midfielder & Footballer of Year, @MDMA_9 is taking part in @TheSundayGame Word Challenge. He picks Word: Des must use it!

@sportsdes @TheSundayGame Okay after much deliberation, not that I had exams or anything, I'm going with BUMFUZZLE -http://t.co/3sj6KmCfGt
