High fliers Derry will welcome All Ireland champions Dublin to Celtic Park this Saturday in a top of the table clash in Division 1 of the Allianz Football League. Here's all you need to know about Derry v Dublin.
Mickey Harte's men have been superb in the opening weeks of the season beating Kerry in their opening game, then easing past Tyrone in Celtic Park as well as crushing Monaghan in the same venue two weeks later. Last weekend they travelled to Galway and put in another fine display with Conor Glass the pick of the bunch. All this means they sit top of the table in Division 1, 4 points ahead of the chasing pack.
Dublin have had a topsy-turvy opening to the season losing out to Monaghan and Mayo in their first two games, However, they have steadied the ship in recent weeks with a win against Roscommon and a commanding performance versus Kerry where Con O'Callaghan was in inspired form scoring a hattrick. They are second in the the table on points difference with themselves Kerry, Tyrone and Mayo all sitting on 4 points in a congested table.
It is sure to be enthralling contest as Dessie Farrell's Dublin look to close the gap on the early pace setters Derry.
