Derry will take on Dublin in the Allianz Football League Division 1 final this Sunday afternoon. Here's all you need to know about Derry v Dublin.

Derry sit atop the Division 1 table heading into the final round after a comprehensive win over Roscommon in Celtic Park on Sunday. They hold just one loss from the League in contrast to 6 wins. Dublin sit second on the table with just two points separating them from Derry in first place after their win against Tyrone on a score line of 5-18 to 0-12.

While Derry may have finished first, be under no illusion Dublin come into this game as the on-form team and as favourites. Despite a slow start to the season, Dessie Farrell's Dublin have been ruthless in the last six weeks, handing Tyrone, Kerry and Galway comprehensive defeats, with the wins against Kerry and Galway away from home.

Head-to-head Dublin came out on top as well, defeating Derry 1-16 to 1-11 despite being away from home. This League final feels as reminiscent as the Jim Gavin era as any game since.

Derry

Derry have held very little back naming a near full-strength side to take on Dublin this weekend. Conor Glass and Brendan Rogers make up the midfield while ever-dangerous talisman Shane McGuigan will line out in full forward.

Dublin

Dessie Farrell has named his team to take on Derry, although with a slightly strange look, maybe it should be taken with a pinch of salt.

Evan Comerford remains in goal over both Cluxton and Hanlon. Thomas Davis' Cian Murphy slots from wing-back back to full-back. Sean Bugler a traditional wing-forward starts in wing back and both Con O'Callaghan and Colm Basquel start in the full-forward line after a string of superb performances.

That's all the info you need ahead of Derry v Dublin as last year's Division Two finalists meet again in Division One, marking quite the achievement that both promoted teams made the top-tier final. While Dublin may be favourites, tomorrow's final should be a closely contested game that goes right to the end.
