Almost a week on from the All-Ireland final, the wounds in the Galway camp are likely to still be fresh after their heartbreaking loss to Armagh.
Losing an All-Ireland final is one thing, but the manner in which The Tribesmen missed out on that occasion will make it an even tougher pill to swallow. Not only did they come up short by just one point, they also failed to perform to anywhere near their best on the day.
Armagh ultimately ran out as deserving winners, while Galway will now be faced with a long winter as they gear up for another shot at the Sam Maguire in 2025.

Dean Rock Worried For Galway After All-Ireland Final Loss
This was Galway's second All-Ireland final loss in three seasons, something that is sure to leave some lasting scars on them as a group.
It remains to be seen if they can finally get over the line in 2025, although some are worried about their prospects for next season.
Writing in the Irish Times, former Dublin star Dean Rock said that he expect that Galway could find the going rather tough next year on the back of this latest defeat.

There will be questions as to whether all the players will recommit for next year and, while there are so many talented footballers in that squad, it’s impossible to know the weight of mental baggage the group carries with them now.
When you look at the wider picture in terms of next year’s All-Ireland contenders, it’s hard not to feel a lot of teams will have improved and this was a missed opportunity.
Galway have a top class manager and panel, meaning they should be right in the mix if everyone is fit and available next year. Of course, that is far from a guarantee considering the injury issues that they suffered through this season.
It will be interesting to see how they bounce back from this latest disappointment.
