Former Kerry midfielder Darragh Ó Sé will take charge of the county's senior team for Sunday's clash with Tralee IT in the McGrath Cup. Ó Sé's promotion from u21 duty is only temporary however, with Eamonn Fitzmaurice and the majority of the Kerry senior panel on holidays in South Africa following their All Ireland final victory in September.
Ó Sé will step in to fill the void for a fixture that will see him name a team made up mostly of the u21 panel which took to the field against Roscommon in the Hastings Cup this weekend. Also making the step up will be another Kerry legend, Seamus Moynihan, who is part of Ó Sé's u21 backroom team.
Fitzmaurice and the rest of the Kerry panel are due to arrive back on Irish soil later on Sunday evening.
