Cavan's ambitions against Tyrone have swelled: Dara McVeety and Conor Moynagh, having been sent off for their roles in a melee that erupted after Cavan's second round qualifier win over Down at Brewster Park. Facing a suspension from the third-round tie with Tyrone, both players requested a hearing with the Central Hearings Committee.

The CHC ruled that each of the players' alleged infraction could not be proven: McVeety had been charged with "contributing to a melee" while Moynagh was accused of "striking with the hand".

Both are now free to play against Tyrone on Saturday afternoon. Having initially been slated for Croke Park, the game will now take place at Brewster Park in Fermanagh. It throws in at 5pm, and is live on Sky Sports Arena.
