There were times during Kildare's qualifier win against Fermanagh where you thought that if someone without knowledge of Gaelic football turned up at Páirc Tailteann, they would have presumed there would be no better player than Daniel Flynn.
The 23-year-old was superb for Kildare throughout the qualifers as they defeated Derry, Longford, Mayo and Fermanagh.
That form has continued into the Super 8.
Just over five minutes into Kildare's opening quarter-final game against Monaghan at Croke Park, the former AFL player scored a superb solo goal.
Flynn had just one thing on his mind after taking possession and he executed superbly.
