Dara Mullin left the Naas goalkeeper Luke Mullins red faced as he caught him out dearly for Kilmacud Crokes opening goal against Naas.
The Dublin champions ran out comfortable 3-14 to 0-14 winners over Naas in the Leinster Senior Championship quarter final, with Mullin’s early goal setting the tone for victory.
With the goalkeeper Mullins well off his line, he passed the ball to his teammate who was penalised for steps.
In what can only be described as a serious lack of concentration from Mullins , he was left chasing back to his net as he could only watch Dara Mullin free roll into the empty net.

This goalkeeping craze is nothing new, with Tyrone’s Niall Morgan and Monaghan’s Rory Beggan often seen wondering up the pitch.
While it offers the team in possession another passing option, it can cost a side dearly if they lose possession as proved in today’s victory for Kilmacud Crokes.
The Dublin champions never looked back from this moment as they produced a brilliant attacking display to advance to the Leinster semi-finals.
In a first half where Kilmacud Crokes produced some brilliant scores, and had their second goal through Craig Dias as he burst through the defence for a powerful finish.

While Naas, kept in touch, Kilmacud Crokes showed their quality to keep the scoreboard ticking as they went in with a six point lead at half-time.
The Dublin champions continued where they left off in the second half, with Shane Walsh putting in a brilliant performance as he scored 0-4.
Any hope of a comeback for Naas was put to bed when Kilmacud Crokes had their third goal through Hugh Kenny’s calm finish in the corner.

The Kildare side finished strongly to bring the gap back to none points, but it will be the Dublin champions who will face Portarlington in Croke Park.
