Just one week after Cork's 7-20 to 0-04 win over Mary I, it was the turn of Roscommon's U21 footballers to put in a result to make you look twice. Competing on home turf in the Hastings Cup, Meath U21 lost to a massive score at the expense of the Rossies.

Meath football hasn't exactly been thriving in the past couple of years but for the u21's to put just one point on the scoreboard, at home, against Roscommon (not that anything should be taken away from what is obviously a good Roscommon side), is not exactly ideal. Granted there may have been some players on duty with the senior panel but still, 0-1?
That solitary point came six minutes from time and it must be said it was a bit of a fluke.
