Cork take on Clare in the Munster round-robin this weekend in what could be the end of the road for one of the two teams. Here is everything you need to know about Cork v Clare.
Clare were unfortunate in drawing the All-Ireland champions in their first round, although the league champions were no push-over putting Limerick to the test in an intense first half. The Banner lead at halftime by a 1-10 to 0-08 following fantastic interplay between Shane O Donnell and Aidan McCarthy to slip the sliotar past Nicky Quade and into the Limerick net.
Unfortunately for Brian Lohan's men, they were unable to retain their six-point lead. With only eleven minutes left on the clock The Treaty scores came quick and fast with two opportunistic goals from Gillane to give Limerick the lead. Clare finished the game well clawing back three point but it wasn't enough with the full-time score finishing 3-15 to 1-18.

Cork will have a lot of ground to make up if they wish to remain in the running for the Liam McCarthy, having lost to Waterford by 2-25 to 1-25 on Saturday. Cork went into the game as favourites due to a strong end to the league campaign. However, Davy Fitz and his men silenced the critics leaving Cork to climb an up hill battle.

In contrast, Clare have named an unchanged side to that which let victory slip through its grasp in Ennis last weekend.
