The Munster hurling final is controversially going ahead in the creaking, and soon to be renovated, Pairc Ui Chaoimh, a ground which is now only capable of holding in and around 37,000 spectators. Limerick supporters want it moved to Thurles while Cork doesn't want to surrender home advantage.

Limerick Live 95's talk show Limerick Today invited on Finbarr McCarthy of Cork's 96 FM to 'discuss' the issue. The frostiness between presenter Joe Nash and McCarthy can be gouged from approximately 0.06 seconds into this recording. It ends with McCarthy hanging up on them, leaving Nash incredulous.
