Cork have beaten Clare in the final of the Munster U20s Hurling Championship, by a score of 1-23 to 1-21 at the TUS Gaelic Grounds in Limerick.
It was a see-saw encounter that saw Cork lead at the end of the first half by four points, before Clare went on a second half run which saw them open up a four point lead heading into the final stages.
Cork finished the stronger however, and were able to claw back the lead with a sensational finish.
The performance from both sides made for a stunning final, and both teams did it without key players who were not allowed play due U20s eligibility rule which prevents players from playing for seven days after an inter-county game.
With Clare and Cork meeting in the senior Munster Hurling Championship this Sunday, Cork's Eoin Downey and Clare's Adam Hogan missed out on tonight's clash.

After the game, Cork's Man of the Match Ben Cunningham slammed the rule which has prevented Downey and Hogan from competing on such a special occasion.
I'm so proud of the lads, so happy to be with this team.
I just have to comment on the situation with Eoin Downey. In my opinion's it's an absolute disgrace, Adam Hogan is the same on the other side.
The best players at our age want to be playing in these games, in the Munster final. I don't see why they can't do it, Eoin would have no problem playing tonight and playing in six days time.
I just think the GAA need to look at it.... the people up there don't know what they're doing if they won't allow two players play in a Munster final, that's all I have to say about it.
Very strong stuff from Ben Cunningham speaking to @SportTG4. Man of the match in U20 Munster Final. Says it is “an absolute disgrace” Eoin Downey and Adam Hogan couldn’t play. pic.twitter.com/T0mN07o1nx
