For the first time since 1935, Tipperary are in an All-Ireland semi-final.
Their place in August football came via a nine-point win against Galway. The Connacht champions went into the game as favourites, though it was expected to be a competitive game - it was not.
After leading by three at the half, Tipperary proceeded to blow Galway away early after the break - scoring two goals in six minutes.
Both of those came via Conor Sweeney.
Post-match, Sweeney - who scored a total of 2-2 in the game - was interviewed by Joanne Cantwell on RTÉ.
He related the type of team bond which created this historic day for Tipperary football.
We're a close-knit team, our squad isn't the biggest. We just gel together and there's real belief there and a never-say-die attitude, it's fantastic.
