Glenamaddy pulled off a dramatic late victory over local rivals Kilkerrin/Clonberne in the Galway Intermediate Football Championship over the weekend.
Conor Raftery, an All-Ireland U20 winner with Galway in December, scored a goal deep into injury time to give his side a 2-7 to 1-9 victory.
Glenamaddy had taken the lead 10 minutes earlier when MacDara Geraghty scored a penalty which put them 1-7 to 1-6 ahead but Kilkerrin/Clonberne fought back through their star player, Shane Walsh.
Kilkerrin/Clonberne scored three points, including two 45s from Walsh - one of them in the ninth minute of injury time - to take a two-point lead.
However, referee Gerald Anthony Lohan played on, and in the last seconds of the game, Raftery hit stunning strike from the ground to the top corner of the Kilkerrin/Clonberne net.
