Naomh Éanna were victorious in their debut county final as they overcame defending Wexford champions St. Martin's 0-13 to 2-11.

Intercounty star Conor McDonald landed 2-1 to power the underdogs to glory. It proves a remarkable turnaround for the youngster. Six years ago in his debut season with the adult's side, they were a junior club. Just three years ago they secured promotion and an intermediate title. Now his contribution ensured they are senior champions.
Delighted for Gorey to capture their first senior hurling title today. Conor McDonald is far too good of a player not to have a county medal. @NaomhEannaGAA really deserved it today. Hup the lads #GoreyAbu

Naomh Eanna were also greatly assisted by Cathal Dunbar, who was initially banned for the game but had that suspension overturned with an 11th-hour appeal.
In front of an official attendance of 6,988, St. Martins went in search of their fourth title. They trailed by three points at half-time and came within two after some great individual scores from Ciaran Lyng and Rory O'Connor. However, McDonald's second goal of the day proved crucial and ensured a shock result was on the cards.
It means they will go on to face Laois champions Camross next month in the Leinster championship.
