Favourites coming into this evening's All-Ireland U21 hurling final in the Gaelic Grounds, Cork found themselves up against it very early on.
After 14 minutes of play, Tipperary lead Cork 1-5 to 0-1. Incredibly, Tipperary would only score two further points in the opening half, however.
Delivering on their pre-match expectations, Cork upped the ante, and, through Conor Cahalane they grabbed a wonderful goal that put this final right back into their hands.
Trailing Tipperary by a point, Cahalane took off on a meandering run. Showing tremendous control of the sliotar, the finish was equally spectacular.
