The Irish Times are tonight reporting that former Roscommon goalkeeper Shane Curran has been added to the Fianna Fáil ticket and will run in the Roscommon-Galway constituency.
There were rumours a few weeks ago that Curran was to run for the Dáil in a constituency in which Fianna Fáil are generally quite weak, but those were quashed by Curran himself.
He has since changed his mind, and will now compete in the election.
