What a year this man has had. Not content with winning the five-in-a-row with Dublin, Con O'Callaghan has been in the thick of the action with his club in recent weeks.
Having been perhaps the best footballer in the country in 2019, the small ball has been his focus. Cuala were taking on St Brigid's in the Dublin Senior Hurling Final, hoping to reclaim the crown they last won in 2017.
O'Callaghan has been on fire in the buildup, including a cracking two goal performance in the quarter final win over Kilmacud Crokes.
He got the opening score of the game, showing incredible pace to turn the opposition defender and bury it. Unfortunately, he would be on the receiving end of a very poor challenge from St Brigid's goalkeeper Alan Nolan in the process.

After staying down to receive treatment for a couple of minutes, O'Callaghan was unable to carry on.
It did little to change the course of the game, with Cuala going on to win on a scoreline of 1-18 to 1-14.
Congratulations to the @CualaCLG squad & management! 👍🏼
