The 2018 Hurling Championship set a fire under the game that hasn't been seen since the glory days of the '90s. Between the classics in the round robin series, wonder scores galore, drawn All-Ireland semi-finals, and finally, Limerick's famine coming to an end, 2019 has a lot to live up to. Needless to say, we cannot wait to find out if it does.
We're going to be in Cork on Thursday May 2nd for a very special preview of the summer ahead. To celebrate Sports Direct's support for the club, we'll be bringing you Clubhouse Live from the famous Glen Rovers Hurling Club, and we want you to join us!
The legendary Cork city club was home to Christy Ring, Jack Lynch, Tomás Mulcahy, 27 Cork senior Championships, and now, it's also home to Balls.ie and Sports Direct's Clubhouse Live!
We'll be looking ahead to the summer of Cork hurling with The Glen's own Patrick Horgan, winner of an All-Star award for the last two years, as well as with another local hero, Leanne O'Sullivan, a member of Cork's two-in-a-row All-Ireland winning Camogie team.
We'll also look ahead to the mouth watering hurling Championship ahead with an all-star panel of former Clare captain and manager Anthony Daly, former Waterford manager Derek McGrath, and another local legend and All-Ireland winner Seanie McGrath.
There'll be some brilliant prizes to give away on the night too, and we'll be looking for Cork hurling's official Mastermind in our epic hurling quiz.
