Six players from All-Ireland champions Corofin have been named on first ever AIB GAA Club Players’ football team of the championship. The team was voted for by the GAA media.
Liam Silke, Kieran Fitzgerald, Dylan Wall, Michael Farragher, Ian Burke and Martin Farragher from the Galway side have all been recognised for their performances which took Corofin to All-Ireland victory against Nemo Rangers last month.
Though they exited at the semi-final stage, Derry's Slaughtneil have four players on the team, while fellow semi-finalists Moorefield have two.
All-Ireland runners-up Nemo Rangers also have two representatives. The final place on the team is taken by Kilcar's Paddy McBrearty.

Three players from Corofin - Ian Burke, Michael Farragher and Liam Silke - have been nominated for Club Footballer of the Year.
The winner will be announced at a Croke Park banquet on April 21st.
