With the clock already one minute into injury time, Nemo Rangers doubled their lead to two points in the Munster club final against Clonmel Commercials. Jack Horgan put his side up 0-9 to 0-7.
The game was not up though.
Despite some cynical tactics from Nemo to slow down Clonmel's attempts to get the ball forward, the Tipp side scored a dramatic late goal.
A long ball was launched towards the Nemo goal, which was not dealt with by the Cork champions. It was tapped down to Michael Quinlivan who struck a left-footed shot across goal to the opposite corner, beating Micheál Martin (son of the Fianna Fail leader).
That was Clonmel's first score in 20 minutes. What a time to get it.
