Clare are set to take on Wexford this weekend as the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship reaches the quarter-final stage as both counties look to continue their championship campaigns. Here's everything you need to know about Clare v Wexford.
For Munster runners-up Clare, they will be looking to bounce back from their provincial final loss. Brian Lohan's side won three and lost one of their round-robin games which saw them finish second within the round-robin and qualify for the Munster final.
In the final, the Banner would face a Limerick side looking to make it six Mick Mackey Cup's in a row, which is what would become reality as John Kiely's side would win 1-26 to 1-20 despite a spirited Clare performance.

In the preliminary quarter-final, Keith Rossiter's side would travel to O'Moore Park and face up against Joe McDonagh runners-up Laois. Captain Lee Chin would score 0-11 to help Wexford advance to the quarter-finals with a 0-32 to 0-20 win.
The winners of this match will face Leinster champions Kilkenny in the All-Ireland semi-final in Croke Park.
Wexford had a motion to change the dates of the hurling quarter-finals with the Tailteann Cup semi-finals as to not clash with their Féile na nGael rejected by the Central Council.
