Ciara McGurk travelled to Croke Park on Sunday dreaming of All-Ireland glory. She didn't leave with an All-Ireland win,but she won something more important.
The Derry corner-forward saw her team lose a three-point lead in the final minute of the All-Ireland Ladies Junior Football Final. Ulster rivals Fermanagh scored a goal in the final minute to send the game to a replay.
The Derry players returned to the stands to watch the day's second game between Tipperary and Tyrone, before McGurk was stopped on the sidelines.
She had a very important question to answer. Luckily for McGurk and Ryan McCloskey she said yes.
B'fhéidir nach bhfuair @Doiregaa an bua inniu, ach tá duine de na himreoirí iontach sasta le tortha eile inniu! Comhghairdeas Ciara McGurk! pic.twitter.com/s9ILuG9bsm

Sport can be a funny game. From the disappointment of having one hand on an All-Ireland trophy taken away, to then getting engaged in the space of an hour.
Either way it'll be a day remembered fondly, it Derry go on to win the replay or not.
