The GAA website states that the Central Competitions Control Committee agreed to postpone the game, originally set for June 11th in Newry, because of "the unique circumstances involved".
The Central Competitions Control Committee met this morning to consider a formal request from the Meath County Committee for a postponement of the Christy Ring Cup Final Replay between Meath and Antrim scheduled for this Saturday evening, June 11th.
Given the unique circumstances involved, the C.C.C.C. agreed to postpone the game. It will now take place on Saturday, June 25th in Croke Park at 5pm.
Meath said last night that they would replay the fixture but only on the condition that the date was changed.
So that's that then, it's finally at an end. Now what are the chances we'll see a contentious draw in the replay just to really cement the status as a classic GAA 'saga'.
