Chrissy McKaigue was named Man of the Match in Slaughtneil's All-Ireland club football semi-final win against St. Vincent's on Saturday afternoon.
McKaigue's task looked an unenviable one going into the game - marking Diarmuid Connolly. Not only did McKaigue, playing at centre-back, dominate Connolly but he also made a major impact for his side on the scoreboard.
What a performance by @GACSlaughtneil. Chrissy McKaigue kicking 4 points and none of them easy while tasked with marking Connolly. #Leader

McKaigue scored four points to Connolly's one as Slaughtneil won by two - 0-12 to 0-10. Three of those, in particular, were magnificent second half scores from the Derryman.
For the third point in the highlights below, McKaigue really out-Connollyed Diarmuid Connolly as he burst past the Dublin man to kick a superb score. It's the type of move we'd usually be accustomed to seeing from the four-time All-Ireland winner.
