A charity hurling match took place in Newbridge's St Conleth's Park on Tuesday evening, involving a mixture of past players and past and present stars of other sports, in an effort to raise money for Cancer Research. It is the second year the event has been organised by horse trainer Jim Bolger and champion jockey Davy Russell.
