Cavan are set to take on Dublin in the second round of the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship round-robins this weekend with both sides having differing fortunes in round one. Here's everything you need to know about Cavan v Dublin.

For the Breffni Men, they will be looking to get their campaign back on track as their start to the round-robin was on to forget. Raymond Galligan's side traveled up to MacHale Park in Castlebar to face Mayo, where the home side would run out to a comfortable win. An Oísin Kiernan goal would provide Cavan with their only moment to celebrate as it finished 0-20 to 1-08 to Mayo.

In the case of Dessie Farrell's Dublin, they will be looking to continue their winning form. The Leinster champions hosted Roscommon at a near-fifth full Croke Park last time out, where they held a narrow 0-10 to 0-09 lead at half-time.

The Dubs would find their shooting boots in the second half however as two late goals from Colm Basquel and Con O'Callaghan would help the home side cruise to a 2-19 to 0-13 win.

A win for Cavan would help increase their chances of progressing out of the groups, while a win for Dublin would guarantee them a place in the preliminary quarter-finals at least and leave them with a good chance at clinching the top spot and receive a bye into the quarter-finals.
