It was quite a weekend as Kilkenny's dominance of the hurling landscape continued unblemished for another year. We loved it, the British loved it, and now it appears that the Canadians loved it. Canadian TV has been showing delayed coverage of the All-Ireland hurling championship, and the entertaining final was shown last night.
Most Canadians hadn't a clue what they were watching but concluded some form of lacrosse/rugby/gang warfare was involved. Everyone was suitably entertained and enthralled by what they were viewing though.
Score in Irish Nat'l Hurling championship is KIK 1-17 GAL 0-16. Don't ask me who is winning.

This Irish national Hurling Championship is nuts. I've watched for half hour and I don't have a clue who is doing what and why? #Imisshockey

Not sure who exactly invented Hurling, but I guarantee copious amount of alcohol was involved.

If the Jays are giving you a headache head down a channel to watch some Irish hurling. It will numb the pain.

Hurling seems to be part soccer, rugby, field hockey and best of all baseball fungo hitting. Wild
