Usually pre-game handshakes are a fairly desultory ritual, but today's All-Ireland Camogie final proved the exception to the GAA's rule of tradition.
The pre-game handshakes became a theatre for Cork to exhibit their steeliness ahead of the game, with some refusing to shake hands, with others shoving Kilkenny opponents out of the way and refusing to make eye contact.

Pre-game rituals haven't been this exciting since England's visit to Ireland in the 2003 Six Nations, when Martin Johnson had Mary McAleese walk off the red carpet and on to the grass to shake his hand.
