After the madness of Congress yesterday, it was a pleasure to return to the more homespun charms of the League today. Weird things happen during February in the GAA, but nothing was quite as weird as Bryan Sheehan's 33-second appearance for Kerry today in defeat to Monaghan. Sheehan had a very eventful cameo - he won an amazing highball, punched Kieran Hughes in the face and was sent off. It's one of the shortest substitutions in GAA history and we've analysed the whole thing, second by second, for your reading pleasure.
65:08: Sixty five minutes and eight seconds into Kerry's league game against Monaghan, Bryan Sheehan comes on for David Moran, as Kerry prepare for a kickout.
65:19: Amazing catch from Sheehan from a Kerry kickout, snatching the ball from Kieran Hughes
65:24: Hughes did not part easily with the ball though and in the intervening scrap for the ball, Sheehan's fist makes contact with Hughes's face.
