In an era of kicking from the hand, one man dominated Gaelic football free taking, and he did it from the ground.

Bryan Sheehan won five All-Irelands for Kerry in his 12 year intercounty career, but will be most remembered as one of the best dead-ball specialists in Gaelic football. His prowess meant conceding a free to the Kingdom when he was on the pitch was always a mistake.

1 and 2: 2009 Kerry SFC final South Kerry vs Dr. Crokes

Probably the two most famous frees Sheehan has scored were kicked eight years ago in the Kerry SFC final against Dr. Crokes. Playing for South Kerry as they won for the fourth time in six years, Sheehan kicked two monster frees, scoring 1-3 in total.

The commentary from Radio Kerry's Gary O'Sullivan and Weeshie Fogarty adds to the scene.
