There is just over a week to go until the All-Ireland Final, and that means one thing. All-Ireland final songs!
After Waterford and Galway fans got the ball rolling for the hurling final, it's no surprise that songwriters in Mayo have gotten of the traps quicker than their Dublin counterparts.
Consistent heartbreak does that to you though, doesn't it?
Conor Burke sent us this song, simply called Bring Sam Home. From listening to the singer Avril Rushe, it's clear Mayo people have only one thing on their minds.
The level of lyrics in these type of songs never fails, and Bring Sam Home is no exception. The chorus is surprisingly catchy too.
Nothing's fallen easy at our feet
Desire you could swim in, its so deep
We're in this together
No one goes it alone
It takes a lifetime to bring Sam home
While the song is impressive, it's still in the chase to be the second-best Mayo All-Ireland song of all time.
Mayo Anthem 96 is the leader of the genre. Anyone who tells you there is a better All-Ireland final song from any county has simply not seen this marvelous wonder.

There's just the ten days to go, until Mayo's long heartache could come to an end. If Stephen Rochford's side wins, Bring Sam Home could be the soundtrack of a memorable winter in the west.
