Perhaps the main staple of local GAA matches – aside from biased umpires – are the group of auld men in the stand hurling abuse at referees and players alike, week in, week out.
They're always reliable for a witty comment or an outrageous statement and most of the time they're more entertaining than the actual goings on on the field. So credit to James Donnelly for perfectly capturing that treasured clan of 'aul fellas'.
