According to the Irish Examiner, Brian Cuthbert will step down as manager of the Cork footballers.
The Rebels were knocked out of the Championship after a lacklustre eight point loss to Kildare in the qualifiers on Saturday evening.
Cork went into the game as favourites after a particularly strong showing against Kerry in the drawn Munster final where they were just a Fionn Fitzgerald equalising point away from being crowned champions.
Personally feel sympathy for ex Cork boss Brian Cuthbert. Is Tipp's Peter Creedon or John Cleary man to replace him? pic.twitter.com/vBXZkYf9vs

In his two-years as manager, Cuthbert took charge of Cork for eight Championship games, winning three, drawing one and losing four.
